After another agency put on a Samsung-sponsored concert inside Roblox starring popstar Charli XCX, Samsung approached us about revamping the experience as an always-on gaming hub instead of a one-off concert event. Due to some massive budget cuts on the client's side, they opted to cancel their plans to support the experience in 2023 just as we were completing development on the redesign.
We took existing elements from the Charli XCX experience and turned it into a full-fledged RPG game with a Guitar Hero-inspired battle mechanic for players to challenge each other as well as a host of NPC's and bosses. Each zone of the Samsung-themed space station was meant to train players as intergalactic pop stars before sending them on tour to alien worlds which we were developing for future expansions.
